The house
Ca'n Singala villas were built around 60 years ago as homes for local people. They are simple, white painted homes of the type you see all over Spain, but usually for local people, not holiday makers. Thus they have charm in abundance but nothing as magnificent as a swimming pool. But ours does have a very pretty garden, and it is only 3 minutes easy walking to the sea.
The house is a detached, two-bedroom “Ville” at the end of a close. Both bedrooms are the same size with built-in wardrobes; one is a double, the other has two singles that can be pushed together. There is a bathroom with shower, bidet and bath; the kitchen has a fridge, gas cooker, microwave and toaster.
The main room is comfortably furnished in a contemporary modern style, with sofa, two easy chairs, and a dining table and chairs. Not that you will be spending much time inside, for there are patios front and rear with more tables so that you can pick your location according to your mood and the direction of the sun.
In the evening the roof terrace gives lovely views of the nearby mountains and catches the last of the day’s sun. After that there's the gas BBQ which usually proves to be the favourite for those long, warm summer evenings when you decide to eat at home.
